We’re just over two months into the Bync launch and times have never been more exciting. I’m happy to say that the response has been tremendous and we truly thank you for all the support, truly.
Why We Said Goodbye to Budgetable
Many of you have been with us since the Budgetable days, either as beta testers or rooting for us in the background. To be honest, when we made the announcement that we had decided to change the app to Bync, there was some bittersweet sentiment towards seeing the Budgetable brand go. We expected this, as it had become relatively well-known, especially within the personal finance community.
It was a difficult decision for me to make, in fact, probably one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make in awhile —not because there was any uncertainty about Bync, but rather, because our users identified with the Budgetable brand.
Nonetheless, what I saw shortly after its release was that Budgetable, as a budgeting and personal finance tool, would never be able to fulfill what I had envisioned when I set out to build this company —that is, create something extraordinary and share it on a large scale. This has always been our goal, so I went with that, because I saw what Bync could become.
Every once in awhile something special —something with a certain flavor, comes about in life and when it does, you say, “This is it”. And that was Bync.
I think the next few years are going to be amazing for all of us.
